Smiley Children Society, a nonprofit organization founded in Andhra Pradesh by social worker Prudhvi Moses, has achieved an important international milestone with the successful registration of Smiley Children Society Inc. in the State of New Mexico, United States.

The organization has officially received recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), allowing eligible donors in the United States to make tax-deductible charitable contributions in support of the organization's humanitarian and educational programs.

Founded in Andhra Pradesh, Smiley Children Society has been serving underprivileged children and vulnerable families through initiatives focused on education, nutrition, clothing assistance, medical support, child sponsorship, and community development. The organization currently works across several rural communities, striving to improve the lives of children through sustainable support and long-term care.

Founder Prudhvi Moses said that this international recognition marks a significant step toward building partnerships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and charitable organizations worldwide.

"This recognition strengthens our mission to serve children with greater transparency and accountability while opening new opportunities for global support. Our vision is to ensure that every child has access to education, nutrition, and hope for a better future," he said.

Prudhvi Moses also confirmed that Smiley Children Society has submitted an application for consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). The application is currently under review, and the organization is hopeful of receiving a decision during 2027.

The organization believes that expanding its international presence will help attract greater collaboration from donors, volunteers, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) partners while continuing to serve disadvantaged communities in India.
